Where the jobs come from

Homeowners from Bowling Green out to Glasgow, Franklin, Russellville, Scottsville, Brownsville and Morgantown call us about cracked brick, sagging floors, bowed basement walls and wet crawl spaces. We book the inspection and pass the job to independent local contractors, who hire and run their own crews. So there are two ways in: as a contractor taking booked appointments, or as a worker who wants to be introduced to one of those contractors.

For contractors

We look for outfits that arrive when they say, write prices that match the work, and leave a yard the way they found it. You need liability insurance and workers' comp, your own equipment, and the habit of calling Kentucky 811 before anything is dug. Kentucky has no statewide general contractor licence, so the insurance certificate is the paperwork we check first, along with familiarity with the City of Bowling Green's permit process for structural repairs. For crew members

The companies on our list often need people who can run a mini excavator around a house without hitting a utility line, install push or helical piers and log the readings, lay drain pipe and gravel to a fall, and line a crawl space neatly. They also need estimators who can read a laser level and explain a crack to a homeowner. We never charge anyone to be considered. If someone asks you to pay to get on a list in our name, it is not us.
