Who handles your call and your house
The roles you will run into when you contact Bowling Green Foundation Works, from the first ring to the last load of gravel.
The phone desk
An automated assistant answers at any hour and writes down your name, number, address and what you are noticing. A person then calls you back to book the inspection, sooner when water is coming in or a wall is moving.
The foundation specialist
Comes to the house, walks the outside, gets into the crawl space or basement, takes floor readings with a level, measures cracks with a gauge and checks moisture. You get a written plan that names the cause, the fix and the price.
The installation crew
Digs the pier pits, drives push or helical piers to load-bearing ground, braces bowed walls, lays drain pipe, sets sump pumps and lines crawl spaces. They work for an independent, insured contractor.
The scheduler
Requests the Kentucky 811 locate, files any permit with the City of Bowling Green's Building Division or the county office, keeps insurance certificates on file, and moves dates around heavy rain.
Who actually does the work
Bowling Green Foundation Works is run locally from Bowling Green, Kentucky. The repairs themselves are performed by independent, insured contractors we work with, and you will know which company is coming before anything is booked. The referral disclosure page lays out that arrangement, and our about page describes how contractors are chosen.
