Complaints policy
When a job booked through this website goes wrong, this is how to tell us, what we do and how fast, and where else you can turn.
Dated October 2026. Contact (270) 495-0544 or hello@bowlinggreenfoundationworks.com.
How do I report a problem?
Phone (270) 495-0544 and mention that it is a complaint. Writing works too: hello@bowlinggreenfoundationworks.com. Include where the house is, when the inspection or repair took place, what the written plan promised, what you found instead, and any photos. If the crew has not left the property yet, lead with that; a complaint raised while people are still on site gets handled that same day.
How quickly do you respond?
By the end of the next business day, someone confirms the complaint has landed and names the person in charge of it. No more than ten business days later, you get our answer on paper: the findings, the remedy, and the date the remedy will be finished. Complaints about workmanship start with someone going to look at the work itself. When the remedy falls under a product warranty or the warranty in the contractor's contract, we set that up; when neither does, the written answer says so and gives the reason.
Whose job is the repair?
An independent contractor performs it, under the contract you signed with that company. Because we booked the visit and picked the contractor, complaints about either one come to us. Where the fault lies with how the job was done, we press that company for you and keep at it until the matter is closed. The referral disclosure page describes how we are connected.
Where else can I go?
Coming to us first is optional. Kentucky does not license general or foundation contractors statewide, so no state board oversees this trade. For permitted work inside Bowling Green city limits, the City's Building Division answers at 270-393-3615; for a house outside the city, use the building office for that location. Homeowners can also file with the Kentucky Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection. This policy does not narrow any right you hold under your contract or Kentucky law.
What if insurance is part of it?
Coverage decisions belong to the insurance company, and many standard policies leave out earth movement and sinkholes. We supply photos and paperwork. We do not rule on coverage, and we will not waive or quietly pay anyone's deductible.
Is there a record of my complaint?
Each complaint is logged with the steps taken and their dates, and the log is kept for two years. We read it when choosing which contractors keep getting our bookings, and repeated complaints about one company end our arrangement with it.
